New ideas for UWSC
Hey guys!
I was in ToA the other day and saw all the permas whining about quiting GW since they can't do UWSC anymore. So; i decided i'd start a thread of possible ideas for a new UWSC! (right to the point :P)
so my first idea was kinnda oldschool, i plan on calling it unsteady-way.
basiclly this build consists of:
- two permas (basic stuff, shadow santuary for heals, deaths charge)
- two unsteady ground Eles. ( this is mainly for the KD affect, and could be changed with MS i guess, but for now its unsteady earth, also, should this get echo'd? or mabye just on one?)
- Two RoJ monks (i love this skill! its so old school , one would be mo/me as to arcane echo it, the other a ranger, more on that later.)
So, we are up to 6 party members, now i was thinking. this leaves room for quite a few alternatives; here was my ideas for the last two.
A) a 600/smite team (added speed.)
B) an MoP / triple shot+ splinter wep combo to kill skeles.
C) a party healing monk (UA for rezzes) and ethier a spirit spammer or another nuker, or perma.
so heres how it works
1. perma collects aggro, second one moves into position to body block.
2. (if using EoE) this would go on the triple shot ranger, if that stays, if not on a monk, whod also bring Ebon battle standard.
3. unsteady eles cast. (what other skills could they have thatd do AoE? focusing on the Earth chain, but would work with fire to i guess.)
4. RoJ monks use BuH( good or bad idea?) and nuke the mob. one has echo so it is 3 RoJs hitting the knocked down mob. this will allow them to not scatter, if the body block fails.
5. move onto next mob.
Now, all feed back is accepted. You may notice questions in brackets, thats where you guys come in!
Anyone want to help test this? i could do RoJ, but i cant test it all.
thanks in advance, and P.S i think this could become very PuG friendly, and for added speed a conset could be used, and the teams could be devided.
1 perma, 1 US ele, 1 RoJ each. thatd require more testing. I crunched some numbers, and the 3 RoJs + 2 US = 1140 damage, now thats not with Ebon battle standard, EoE, Splinter (if used) or the BuH/intensity bonuses. Now if you echo'd the USG it would hit about 1560 dmg, that's in 5 seconds.
P.P.S any new ideas could also be posted here, and turned into a sticky if you want,

yes, this is just new ways to do it. i know the saying don't fix something that's not broken, but if dhumm is as big as it's anticipated, there's an alternative. Plus i'm sure some people are willing to make a new way.
and if you don't have something to add don't comment. thanks

Perma way is probably faster than this technique.

idk, the only way this would be picked up is if it is faster, the same speed, or only slightly slower than current adjusted speed-clear method. You would have to test it with veteran players that know what they are doing and can communicate very well with one another (aka vent). then for public to pick it up, you would have to start training people in it and a very detailed walkthrough and/or video would be extremely helpful as well. trying to find people to help from guru prolly isn't the best way to go about it ;-)

lol... This is nothing to /sign /unsign for...
OP, I think it looks good.
BUH on RoJ's for the Barragers, MoP wouldn't work imo (maybe for plains) but Splinter-Barrage would do better.
UA monk would be a good choice imo.
Keep it up, maybe do some templates?

See, 600way has been around for AGES!!!!! but, never caught much steam because of the fact that the sin sc build was more, well, mindless. But it requires no cons, and if you have any skill either A) standing there, bonds applied, thumb in arse, or B) 600 tanking, is relatively easy. So, in short, due to no cost, and ease 600way > all other current ways to do uw. Kudos to the brilliant bastard who has posted it up on pvxwiki and such as their own and renaming it "monkyway" stolen fame is sure to come your way my friend.

hey killer minds, as much as i appreciate you thinking this is balanced im going to say, a perma + a nuker + an RoJ is in no way balanced, thanks for making yourself look foolish on my thread your doing a great job.
Mobway/ 600'ing (nice rename, stolen fame is right and I've heard of mobway taking up to an hour. really? you'd like to pay for cons or just BU's for an hour? no thanks. also INCASE the two who are trying to flame this didn't read, this is for new ways. BUT thanks for adding something to the build really i love it. If you two can do better, do it lol.

Alright Attack, I'll do just that.
Mobway took an hour and 8 minutes on their first ever run. Thats where the rumor came from, when they posed to prove that it was possible.
Most team builds on PvX are stolen fame, if you made an amazing build that netted you a ton of cash, you probably wouldnt want it stolen.
But honestly, unless you name the build after yourself (see: Sabway), no fame will be involved.

I think manly spike or splinter barrage would do better here as RoJ causes scatter very quickly in HM these days

cripple its tom, see thats the beauty of it, unsteady ground causes a knock down effect. and theres a perma body blocking it to start. I know RoJ scatters, and im still trying to get it tested. but from what i've seen when using unsteady they can't scatter. Thanks for pointing that out tho.
& at coney, mhm new idea. if your just going to comment permaway kicks ass, blah blah blah that's cool. i'm asking ways to improve this, or any other builds that arn't 7/8 permas being mindless drones. thanks anyways

there we go! thats what i'm looking for, other ideas. and yes, there's two spots. 2 meteor shower ele's could easily fit into the build
only catch is, ms has a 60 recharge, and 5 second cast. unsteady has a 20 and a 2. same as RoJ. and Unsteady has a 5 second time of effect (?) same as Roj. so i just thought it'd sync nicely. But having a meteor shower ele could be very helpful to, since MS has some pretty decent damage. thanks crip. keep 'em coming

Attack you seem to be on to something. It seems you are being bashed like i have been many times for creating something new. but if you succeed you rise into the ranks where everyone who bashed will want your builds. I have been experimenting with something similar. Ignore those guys the are the ones who will only use something until wiki says it is useless. It is people like you that bring joy to the game. Why do mind numbing run after mind numbing run when you can mix up your runs with different builds and get the same stuff but play a different roll. I will check into this a little more.
